Pupil Premium Statement 2019/2020

The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to enhance pupil learning and to tackle disadvantage. The funds, which are extra to the main school budget, are allocated according to:

  • The number of pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point over the last 6 years  
  • The number of pupils who are or have recently been 'looked after'
  • The children of service personnel

Number of Pupils on roll – 131

Number of pupils (aged 16 and under) who are looked after (CLA)- 7

Number of Pupils eligible for FSM in 2018/2019 (or at any point over the last 6 years) - 56

Number of Pupils whose parents currently employed in the armed services - 0

Total number of students eligible for basic Pupil Premium funding (56) represents 43% of the whole school population

The amount of funding for each eligible student in Years 7 to 11 is £935 per annum

Total funding for 2018/2019 amounts to £52,360
