Parents — working in partnership

As parents, carers and family members of the students at Priory school, you are, by far the most valuable asset to our students and essential contributors to their education, health and care plan. At Priory, we hope that you have or will develop a good dialogue with your son/daughter’s class team through the home/school communication app (Seesaw), parent’s evenings, EHCP meetings or through individual telephone calls or meetings. The Pastoral Team at Priory are Tyler Mitchell (Head of Pastoral Care/DSL), and Sarah Gough (Pastoral Lead). However, you are always welcome to contact the school to discuss any concerns you have with the class teacher, any member of the Senior Leadership Team.

A list of parent focused events can be found in the calendar.

Leading parent partnership award

My visit to Priory was, quite simply, one of the most rewarding and enjoyable I have had while working for Optimus. It was clear to see that the school has made a positive difference to the lives of many of the families it works with as well as those of their children. Leaders and staff are passionate about developing relationships with parents and carers. They display a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the families of all the children in their care and go above and beyond to support them in many aspects of their lives, not just those directly related to their children.
