Croydon SEND statement

The Croydon SEND strategy outlines the main priorities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in Croydon from 2023 to 2026. The strategy is based on the voices of children, young people and their families and it emphasises co-production through collaboration. For further details, please read Croydon SEN offer.

Priory School SEN information

Priory School is a maintained Community Special School for students aged 11-19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and/or disabilities, as well as students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Many of our pupils have additional speech and language needs. The Governors and staff of Priory School believe in equality of opportunity for all of its students and will ensure that all the School’s policies, planning, actions and ethos will proactively support this.

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all people with a learning difficulty or disability. Read the Priory School SEN report 2023-24 which outlines how we ensure that students with Special Educational Needs are supported to maximise their opportunities, realise their aspirations and keep safe both in and out of school.
